A happening place, Mainely Brews Restaurant and Brewhouse was established in the historic Post Office building in the center of downtown Waterville. With a completely renovated bar, lounge area, kitchen and added function room called “The Vault” which allows a more private dining experience. Because it is separated from the main lounge area, The Vault is a great place to take the whole family. We have a Kid's Menu and always enjoy serving our littlest clientele. The Vault is also available for private parties and business functions. One of the oldest safes in the area is located in The Vault - who knows what that safe held during its long years of service!
Stop by and enjoy one of the weekly specials, our restaurant offers a wide selection of delicious foods! Start off with home-made soups, award-winning chili, or appetizers like Mozzarella Balls or Southwest Chicken Rollups. Entrees range from house favorites such as Ahi Tuna and 470 Ribeye to World-Class Burgers like the Amsterdamer, which is topped with sautéed mushrooms, onions, and Swiss cheese. We also offer vegetarian options including Tuscan Tofu and Veggie Stir fry. You could always order a tantalizing pizza, choosing from a wide range of toppings and white or wheat dough! Eat an old favorite or explore something new like the Sicilian, covered in sliced tomatoes, spinach, feta cheese, kalamata olives, and finished with our house balsamic reduction – a local favorite.
Mainely Brews is dedicated to improving our little piece of the planet. We are transitioning into a "Green" establishment that has a minimum impact on the environment and we constantly upgrade our property to make it a bright spot in the community. Our brews honor the history of Waterville while making history ourselves as a place for fun times, friendship, fine food, and fantastic beer.
Our signature brew, the Two Cent Bridge Ale, is named after the oldest- standing foot suspension bridge in New England connecting Waterville to Winslow. Head Stash Ale is named for campsite stash spots along the Appalachian Trail and is infused with peach. Drop Dead Red not only holds a great taste but is alsoz named for its potency. Post Office Porter is named after the historic building in which we reside. Da Blueberry Ale is named for Maine's number one exported fruit. 470 Stout is named after the famous locomotive. Every sip of our beer is a true Mainely Brews experience.
