When music is ripped down to its very guts, the result is the raw, soulful sound of Jason Jamora.
Jamora, grew up hanging out in the woods of central Maine. As a kid. No stranger to dark times or wounded hearts, Jason reaches into the depths of his souls in order to reach others. His music blends personal experiences with those of his friends to promote change and healing. Cut down by a debilitating illness Jason Jamora. Using a combination of fresh natural foods, Maine’s glorious outdoors, the support of family and friends as well as using his music to help kids, Jamora not only survived, but transformed his life. [Project131] is the direct result of Jamoras personal metamorphosis. With music and art programs rapidly disappearing from America’s public schools, Project131 gives kids a safe place to discuss life experiences and play music, while instilling values, ethics and a tad of personal hygiene. But Jamora is not a tortured soul by any means. With his singing dog Gunner, he brings laughter to thousands of people – and a few dogs – on Facebook. Gunner even has his own page. Both of them are a hit with the ladies, leaving fans to wonder when, not if, this dog and his man will perform on Letterman. Jamora's soulful voice, cutting lyrics, infectious smile and vibrant acoustic guitar work are not easy to resist. New fans join in the fun on a daily basis, while Jason Jamora keeps it real with good friends.
